Beating the Winter Blues
Winter, Snow, Cold, Wet. These are all words and conditions I loathe. I promised myself to try and embrace the Winter season, fast forward to post holidays and I become slightly (mostly) miserable. This Winter season has been especially hard for most and our household is no different. Between virtual schooling, pre-teen attitudes and job loss we NEED the warmer weather and a new start, BADLY. Riley and Harper has been my escape from the hard times. If you follow our posts and social media at any point, you know my one true goal and purpose was to have a brick and mortar storefront. We are working so hard to make that dream come true. My vision and dream to have a bright entrance into every woman's escape from life's hardships I hope is only a short distance away (still in negotiations of a lease). I envision girlfriends congregating to Riley and Harper on Saturday mornings for "me" time. To have mimosas, coffee and escape to relax at our safe haven while shopping for items that literally make them feel their absolute best. I promise to try my hardest and make that happen. I've been working hard at trying to provide mostly pieces made in the USA. It isn't always possible for everything but as much as I possibly can, I try to grab those items. We are still working on adding the Koi medical attire pieces to our inventory. Being in limbo on the storefront has sort of halted that temporarily. I need to have a physical place to bring all those wonderful pieces for my medical profession beauties and then we can get those added to the R&H site. They have such great options and cute styles at Koi.
Remember this, if there are suggestions on items you'd like to see here at Riley and Harper please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are always searching for the newest styles and comfortable fashion.
One more thing...always try and shop small if you can. It is helping family and friends. Always wake up and put on clothes that make you feel GOOD. ALL of you deserve to look and feel your best, even if we are just sitting at home waiting for the weather to break (me).
Love you all!
